We have a wide ranging discussion on the podcast this week as we welcome Aneeka Gupta, an equities and commodities market specialist from WisdomTree. Aneeka was able to catch us up on current thinking within WisdomTree on the course of global financial markets.
On the podcast we talk about the current direction of inflation in global economies, and the massive concentration trade in the Mag 7 stocks – always a hot topic! I also ask if smaller companies are being oversold at the moment, and what the upcoming US election will mean for US equities.
Aneeka also tells us about her views on emerging markets, and I ask about India in particular, which I’m still fairly bullish about. Aneeka has also recently published a white paper which breaks down the European equities market by sector, and she provides some additional insight on those views. We finish off with a look at the Japanese market and, of course, the gold price. I hope you enjoy it!
